Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Naisiligaki Japhet Loisimaye, a Tanzanian national currently residing in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I arrived in Thailand in 2020 as an international student and have since been residing here under a student visa.
I am pleased to inform you that I have completed my PhD studies at Payap University, Chiang Mai.
Following the completion of my studies, I have received an offer of employment as a lecturer, which is still under process, and this requires me to change my immigration status from a student visa to a work permit and a non-immigrant visa.
As Tanzania does not have an embassy in Thailand, I understand that the Tanzanian Embassy accredited to Thailand is located in Malaysia.
However, I have been advised by my academic department to first inquire whether any African embassies or consulates in Thailand or Bangkok are able to provide guidance, confirmation, or support regarding visa status change or renewal for Tanzanian nationals residing in Thailand.
I am therefore writing to kindly inquire whether your office can:
Provide the visa status change process, or
Offer any form of assistance, confirmation, or referral relevant to my situation.
The reason for my visa status change is my transition from student status to employment status, as explained above.
Should you require any additional information, I can be reached through the following contact details:
Email: [email protected]
Thank you very much for your time, consideration, and any assistance your consulate may be able to provide. I look forward to your kind guidance.
Yours faithfully,
Naisiligaki Japhet Loisimaye
