Hello. My girlfriend (a Laotian citizen) and I (a Swiss citizen) would like to get married in Laos. We have a few questions: 1. Does the Swiss citizen need a certificate of no impediment to marriage, or is a civil status certificate sufficient? 2. If the Swiss citizen needs a certificate of no impediment to marriage, does the Laotian woman have to submit documents that will be sent to Switzerland for review?
